Large entertainment company seeks solid LAMP support person. Able to work from home. Need someone who can find unsecure PHP4 code, fix server issues, and work very quickly and reliably.
Absolutely required:
Mysql administration, query/index optimization - expert
PHP 4 development/debugging/installation from source - expert
PHP 5 development/debugging/installation from source - expert
Apache configuration/installation from source - expert
Fedora core/RedHat installation/configuration/maintenance - expert
HTTP Protocol understanding (ability to read an HTTP request, ability to use telnet to make http requests) - expert
TCP/IP understanding (tcpdump/wireshark) - expert
Perl scripts - proficient
Shell scripts - proficient
Crontabs - proficient
DNS (BIND) administration - expert
IIS administration web/ftp/application pools/.NET - proficient
Diff/patch - proficient
C (enough to be able to find/raise the FD_SETSIZE on a server) - proficient
Windows administration find/clear disk space, run patches, account administration - proficient
General knowledge of things like filesize limits in legacy applications - expert
NFS client configuration - proficient
MSSQL maintenance - proficient
