Enterprise LAN Project Manager Job Description:
One of TEKsystems clients in Madison Heights, MI is in need of an experienced Enterprise LAN Project Manager for a long-term contract engagement.
The qualified candidate will be involved all manner of LAN Network deployments such as Telco closets, routers, switches and wireless devises. The projects can be new builds as well as upgrades and repair. The PM will handle between 3 and 10 small and large projects at any given time depending on their relative size. This person must have excellent customer interaction skills and be VERY detail oriented. 75% of the time will be spent coordinating and documenting and 25% will be site visits. The PM will maintain documentation on Launch, Project Financial's, Design, Physical Installation Bids, Change Control, and Close out Process, Project Correspondence, Meeting Minutes and Weekly status reports. The right candidate MUST be proficient in MS Project, Excel and an expert at reading bid specs and blue prints. All work content is structured around already established NEC's templates and procedures. Candidates MUST also have prior General Motors LAN Deployment experience and knowledge of SDP-21 standards.
THIS PERSON WILL WORK FROM THEIR HOME AND TRAVEL FREQUENTLY TO VIRGINIA AND OHIO TO MANAGE ON SITE FOR MULTIPLE DAYS AT A TIME.
