*To manage Aetna's corporate and business area identities by producing print and electronic communications, using internal and external resources.
*Utilizes current graphic design technology and computer software packages to produce leading edge multi-media tools and sales presentation materials, including interactive Flash-based presentations, custom PowerPoint presentations, short movies and leave-behind print materials, in support of corporate and National Accounts strategies.
*Develop cost effective, business-focused and high-quality design solutions that can be leveraged throughout the company.
*Consults with customers and project manager on appropriate visual design approaches and may make presentations of concepts to clients.
*Creates visual design for appropriate, cost-effective communication vehicle (e.g., may include: print, multi-media, video).
*Integrates corporate identity and design standards into design concepts and solutions.
*Experience in specialty, and has demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in the application of knowledge to the solution of difficult tasks.
Required Skills:
SKILL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Flash Design and ActionScript a must!
Degree or certificate in multimedia/web/print design required
Professional with 5+ years experience in multimedia/web/print design required
Must have a minimum of at least 5 years experience and solid skills producing a variety of Web features
Excellent knowledge of HTML
Developing code in a clean and consistent manner
Good Knowledge of video compression including Flash Video, Windows Media Player and QuickTime
Optimizing video and images for the best download speed and cross-browser compatibility
Excellent Knowledge of Macintosh and OS X Required
Must have good to excellent knowledge of the following: Flash, ActionScript, HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Squeeze, Cleaner, Final Cut Pro
Must have a portfolio of examples satisfying the requirements and be prepared to fluently discuss them
A demonstrated ability to create conceptual designs including creative sketches and storyboards
Business and/or industry background a plus
Excellent written &verbal communication skills
Must be able to multi-task in a detail-oriented, dynamic environment
Experience with remote teams a plus
Must be able to work independently
