Wanna get out of that stodgy, monolithic, bureaucracy you re workin for? Company is an exciting, nimble, nextgen application development company where there is actually a "take" in that give/take employment relationship! We provide exciting IT infrastructure solutions and we re looking for technology professionals to assist with customer/partner acquisition and drive the enablement process.
The Customer Enablement Manager (CEM) will drive the technology aspects of the sales process and will be called upon to build, customize and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, partners and candidates for employment. The job will entail assisting the Account Executive in understanding the client-specific IT problems from a more detailed and technical level. The CEM will work to build trust with the client and articulate how the company adds value in specific phases of project implementations. Qualified candidates should possess industry knowledge and take a solutions approach to lead companys customers through the entire sales process from discovery and value identification, to mapping value to companys solutions, to managing proof of value projects (pilots and POC s), to closure. Previous experience with communication and delivering presentations to C-Level executives is critical. Strong PowerPoint skills and experience developing product demos is required.
Qualified candidates must have been involved in the delivery of projects either at a large corporation, large consulting firm, a Systems Integrator, or at a large ISV. The right person will have been on projects that were in jeopardy yet ended successfully; understanding what went wrong and figuring out how to fix it is critical. They MUST have written code at some point in their life and MUST have been involved in the management and delivery of projects.
The Customer Enablement Manager must be highly experienced in modeling business processes, managing client engagements and hands-on enterprise software implementations, including developing and delivering software. In a short period of time, this person must possess enough knowledge about a client s needs and the companys products that they will be counted on to provide input to future strategies for our solutions. A proactive thinker, the Customer Enablement Manager identifies and resolves product issues and incorporates the solutions back into the core product offering. While J2EE coding is NOT a requirement, candidates must be familiar with Java and have a rich understanding of software development life cycles.
The right candidate will come up to speed on the XXX solutions and be able to build comprehensive applications with minimal assistance. They should have rudimentary HTML knowledge and a desire to learn. They should know about existing tools used in the development process and how these tools can be leveraged with XXX.
Ideal candidates will have the following experience and capabilities:

Prior Technical Account Management, Sales Engineering or Consulting sales experience.
A proven track record of managing multiple projects from start to finish
Familiarity with J2EE technologies and web based solutions
Understanding of the stages of a product development life-cycle, from requirements gathering to release
Ability to comprehend technical issues and point out risks and alternatives
Strong and demonstrated organizational skills and problem solving skills
Direct customer interactions on pilots and software implementation projects
Excellent communication skills with past successes in working across organizations to implement large-scale projects, including working with technology/engineering, product management/marketing, business development/sales, services, and customer support/operations
