Part Time Configuration Management Analyst Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the CM team your main responsibility will be to ensure the best CM process. The best CM process is one that can best (1) accommodate change, (2) accommodate the reuse of proven standards and best practices, (3) assure that all requirements remain clear, concise and valid, (4) communicate (1), (2), and (3) promptly and precisely and (5) assure that the results conform in each case.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Back up support for Configuration Management Analyst I.
2. Release Parts and documents to production (in SAP and vault, perform standard drawing verification).
3. Conduct verification on implemented EC to ensure redline of intended change matches what was specified on the ECO request and/or obtain verification from engineers. This includes verifying all inventory was handled correctly at all locations.
4. Day to day configuration support of products.
5. Determine whether a change request qualifies for the deviation process
6. Enforce company quality processes and systems
7. Update documents using SAP software to track the status of ECO's
8. Responsible for coordinating deviations on various product platforms.
9. Perform limited cost analysis on product changes.
10. Assist in compiling redlines.

Requirements
SKILLS:
? Excellent attention to detail.
? Excellent computer skills with the ability to adapt existing computer skill set to new computer programs.
? Ability to work with all levels of personnel with tact and diplomacy.
? Ability to use personal judgement to resolve problems with limited instruction.
? Ability to work effectively in a stressful or system-critical environment.
? Ability to work within a team environment while balancing multiple tasks.
? Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
? Ability to effectively prioritize workload.
? Knowledge of different types of ECO's and the corresponding approving authority
? Knowledge of ECO forms and documents (e.g., supplier notification form, supplier problem sheet, bill of material, engineering change notification)
? Knowledge of software programs (e.g., MS Office, SAP, ECO, deviation, Adobe Acrobat)
? Knowledge of Internet navigation tools (e.g., Internet Explorer)
?EXPERIENCE:
? 1 to 3 years experience in manufacturing environment with material control, and SAP experience a must. Must have excellent data entry and Excel skills.
Must be open to working 24 hours per week on Mon., Wed., and Fri.
