We have a rare opportunity for an RN who is interested in taking a break from direct care. The Clinical Auditing Analyst will audit the claim review done by the clinical claim review team. This autonomous role allows you to work from home while working with a great team. Key responsibilities of the Clinical Audit Analyst include:
Reviewing cases completed by the appeals coordinators in the department
Ensuring regulatory compliance
Analyzing and reporting data
Identifying utilization trends and patterns
Communicating results of the audit to management
Preparing files for external audits
Requirements
The chosen candidate must possess:
A current, unrestricted RN license
Acute-care experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Solid relationship-building skills
Preferred assets include:
Experience with appeals and grievances in a managed care setting
Claims experience
A strong understanding of medical codes
Audit experience
Knowledge of NCQA and CMS
MS Access skills
