This is the ideal position for a motivated, quick learner who is goal-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Noobis is looking for intern applicants in the Buffalo, NY area.
As a Content Specialist at Noobis, you will be involved in all phases of the review, acquisition and/or creation of content for applications, platforms, email newsletters and other online communications media that support our initiatives. Specific responsibilities include:
Conduct online research in areas related to Noobis' business activities, including: content, emerging trends and/or technologies, competition, etc.
Monitor web traffic-related metrics for statistics and content improvement / development.
Review, create, update and/or migrate content for Noobis' online properties.
Contribute to audience research as a basis for design or improvement of Noobis' online properties.
Contribute to the process of content design, to ensure it is appropriately presented.
3-month commitment, with minimum of 8-10 hours per week.
Specific internship positions may be available on a year-round basis.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The candidate must demonstrate the skill and ability to:
Think logically and be able to articulate thoughts in a clear, concise manner.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work from home.
Comfortably work both individually and as part of a remote workgroup.
Take ownership of assignments and see them through to completion.
Know when to ask questions or ask for help.
Efficiently manage several (small) concurrent assignments.
Quickly learn and adapt when dealing with unfamiliar systems, applications or processes.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers and co-workers.
Meet deadlines and complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
Display exceptional follow-through, personal drive and the desire to make a difference.
Must be able to efficiently navigate the internet, with a genuine interest in social media - particularly online communities.
Proficient in conducting research assignments using the internet.
Possesses excellent writing skills.
Must be creative with strong analytical skills.
Proficient with MS Office (or similar), and experience with HTML/PHP/CSS a plus.
Visual creativity (graphics, layout, design) is a plus.
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) is a plus.
