Senior Microsoft Consultants / UCC Integration Specialists
Job Description:
· Providing strategic planning, design, and consulting for UCC Solutions
· Implementing Unified Communications Solutions
· Integrate legacy PBX systems into a Unified Communications solution
· Migrate legacy voice mail systems into a Unified Messaging platform
· Optimize voice and video traffic
· Assess technical requirements for target market; define solution functionality and professional services
· Assess client requirements based upon strategic needs and objectives.
· Produce high level designs including business requirements, solution context, logical architecture / data model, use cases, functional decomposition and component descriptions.
· Contribute to RFI / RFP / bid documents.
Job Requirements:
· Professional services / IT consulting experience;
· Superior work ethic, with flexible and client aware demeanor;
· Exceptional articulation, documentation, presentation, and communication skills;
· Microsoft Certification or specific training in Exchange, OCS
· Cisco IP Telephony training or documented certification
· Telephony Integration with PBX and Directory Systems
· Experience with a wide range PBX and Voice Mail Systems
· Experience with a wide range of IP Telephony systems
· Practitioner experience with MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint or Visio
· Ability to work on multiple priorities and manage time accordingly
· Technical and collateral writing
· Facilitate discovery and capability workshops to ascertain client drivers, requirements and fit within a solution
· Ability to discuss technical concepts with clients
· Ability to work in a team environment, as well as take a leadership role when needed.
· Demonstrated technical and effective written communication skills
Education and Certifications:
· Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or 5 years IT experience
· Microsoft MCSE 2000 or 2003 (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
