Senior Medical Writer

My client a premier medical communications company in Philadelphia is actively seeking a Senior Medical Writer. This is a position for industry experienced professionals who have at least 3 or more years of medical writing or medical direction experience within a medical communication or medical education company. Individuals qualifying for this position will have the following qualifications:
An advanced degree in the life sciences, PhD, MD or Pharm D degree
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will be interacting on a regular basis with both staff, clients and industry professionals
Prior experience working with and mentoring junior writers
Strong time and project management skills
Knowledge of AMA writing style
Experience in a variety of therapeutic areas is a plus (Oncology, Diabetes, CNS, Cardio, etc)
Hands on writing of publications and medical communications (abstracts, manuscripts, monographs, slides, journal articles, etc)
Experience with creation of strategy, planning and implementing of publications
My client has excellent health benefits, vacation and incentives, as well as the ability to work remotely a few days a week. Again this is a Senior Medical Writer position that is why work from home is an option.
