Position Description .
Case Management Specialists, Inc. (CMS) is seeking a registered nurse to join our medical management team providing case management, disease management, utilization review, and consulting services.
Qualifications:
CMS would prefer someone experienced in case management, but would consider someone with a srtong clinical background to include either home services and/or discharge planning. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and computer skills (keyboarding, Word, and Excel) are required as this nurse will work telephonically, with patients, their family members, their insurance companies, and their providers to assist in coordinating care on behalf of the insurance carrier. This unique position will offer the qualified individual the opportunity to advocate for the patient while educating them about health care options and the application of their health insurance benefit.
This is a rewarding and interesting specialty in nursing that will allow the nurse to participate in the business of health care while still utilizing their clinical experience and expertise.
Our main office is located in Hartland, where training would occur. There would then be an opportunity to work from home once training is complete. The position is available is approximately 30 per week with flexibility.
