THE BEST WAY TO PREDICT YOUR FUTURE IS TO CREATE IT...... Our Client is a hospital in Austin, TX that is in need of several Registered Nurses in their Rehab Unit; multiple shifts available. The unit is a 24-hour, seven day a week department. Weekend plans are available! JOB DESCRIPTION: The Rehab Center provides individualized Rehabilitation services through a multidisciplinary team approach. The 2nd Floor is a 38-bed General Rehab unit serving primarily orthopedic, gait dysfunction, and CVA patients including hip fractures, osteoarthritis, joint replacements, multiple fractures, amputations, diabetes, cardiac, respiratory, and Parkinsons disease. The Rehab Center on the 3rd floor is a 24-bed Neuro Rehab unit that serves primarily traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, encephalopathy. The 4th floor in the main hopsital is a 21 bed non-Medicare Rehab unit that cares for a variety of neuro and general Rehab, ortho and bariatric patients. We are an acute facility that provides 24 hour specialized nursing care and a minimum of 3 hour of physical therapy, occupational therapy, aquatics, speech therapy, cognitive therapy and therapeutic recreation. We also provide psychological services, respiratory and dietary services as needed. Our emphasis is to assist our patients in regaining their independence and returning HOME. QUALIFICATIONS: (1) RNs with previous acute care - rehab experience (2) graduation FROM an accredited school of nursing (3) Licensed by the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners or eligible SALARY: Ranges FROM $46, 385 - $65,442 (could be higher depending on experience and qualifications). Shift differentials not included.
