Description of Duties:
Candidate will assist in answering customer inquiries regarding mortgage accounts. Research and fact-gathering through review of mortgage documentation to determine regulatory compliance, including accuracy of Truth in Lending disclosures, confirmation of underwriting analysis, proper execution of legal documents, and comprehensive servicing history. Document findings in summary format. Draft responses to customers.
Experience Required:
At least 7 years of experience in mortgage lending including hands-on experience in at least three of the following areas: regulatory compliance, QA auditing, underwriting, closing, or servicing.
Skills Required:
Ability to recalculate Truth in Lending disclosures, perform high-cost analysis, underwriting, closing documentation review, ability to analyze servicing records. Investigative mind and thoroughness. Strong writing skills and proficiency in English. Ability to work without direct supervision. Ability to meet deadlines.
