Position:
Microsoft Practice Manager
Job Description:
· Manages all aspects of a client project (or projects) providing overall leadership within the region
· Has the primary responsibility for ensuring overall client project satisfaction and managing client expectations in region
· Develops project plans and project risk management strategies.
· Responsible for executing profitable projects.
· Develops project performance measurement/tracking criteria to highlight value add
· Responsible for project staff morale and maintaining customer relationships.
· Supports presales and sales in the establishment of new client relationships including proposal development and contract negotiations.
· Responsible for development of follow-on business with existing clients.
· Responsible for developing statements of work and for minor contract changes.
· Provides innovative systems and consulting services to clients.
· Works in an energetic and rapidly growing company where a high level of personal commitment is required.
· Focus is on quality work and technical excellence.
· Work week can be extensive, and is usually carried out as part of a team at client sites.
· Grows team spirit and high morale throughout company.
Job Requirements:

· Solid IT background in any or all of the Microsoft technologies:
Windows Server / Windows Client
Microsoft Deployments
Office system
ForeFront
SharePoint Architecture
Office Communications Server
Exchange and Active Directory
PerformancePoint Server
BizTalk
SQL Server
System Center
EPM
· Previous consulting experience in an enterprise or service provider environment delivering large complex solutions
Communications Skills
· Verbal: Prepares and delivers presentations to all levels of audience on a wide range of subjects.
· Written: Writes significant documents from scratch that are suitable for distribution outside the company with little or no review.
· Collaboration: Facilitates collaboration amongst employees to enhance quality and efficiency of service delivery.
Planning Skills
· Task Estimation: Estimates tasks for others and for work they haven’t done.
· Progress Tracking: Tracks progress against project plans and predicts completion times
Education and Certifications:
BSCS, BSEE, MSCS, MSEE, MBA or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge.
Industry Experience: Minimum of 6 years
MCSE certification a plus
