Key Account Manager Reports To: Business Unit Director Company: Well established, leading international manufacturer of engineered solutions for the transportation, electronics and medical markets. Privately held with over $400 million in annual revenue. Location: WORK FROM HOME (within 4-5 hour radius of Atlanta, GA) JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES: • Meet or exceed established market share and sales targets for assigned account base • Develop sales forecasts and plan to grow business • Develop and implement a rolling 3 year strategic business plan for territory • Prepare and submit Monthly Reports to communicate significant field activities and record progress of critical customer programs • Develop principal contacts AT designated key accounts (i.e. heavy truck and automotive market) QUALIFICATIONS: • BS Degree in an Engineering discipline (ME or EE) • Minimum 5 years experience in key account sales working with technical or engineered products • Business management experience with ability to understand top and bottom line business issues and impacts • Excellent sales, communication, presentation, and listening skills • Computer literacy and the ability to develop proficiency in needed programs • Technical ability to explain product applications and propose customer solutions • Good customer service skills. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Willing to travel up to 50% by car
