Job Description
The Inside Sales RepresentATive will be WORKing to proactively support the sales efforts of the field specialty sales force for Retail Point of Sale and VirtualizATion. Using the telephone or, increasingly, the web, you'll contact selected customers in a designATed market or accounts area, selling and supporting the efforts of hp's Retail Point of Sale and Blade PC solutions. You will interface with customers and HP field sales people to drive the success of the business.
WORKing with a field sales representATive, you'll become increasingly independent and pro-active in managing and selling to customers remotely.
JOB SUMMARY
Individuals will retire a shared quota, increase customer sATisfaction, and drive profitable growth across the Retail Point of Sale and Blade PC business. They will have primary ownership responsibility for assigned product divisions within their accounts. They will take a lead role in project management and account planning in cooperATion with outside sales. PSG ISRs are required to maintain a strong technical knowledge of HP's Retail Point of Sale and Blade PC products. They are responsible for quoting the full range of HP products in their assigned product divisions. This position is considered a sales specialty role and will actively collaborATe with the field sales team and interface with a multitude of corporATe resources. This position is intended to positively leverage the strATegic selling and effectiveness of the sales organizATion. You will be able to provide remote presentATions, qualify opportunities and track and support the field sales efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inside Sales
Responsible for team quota ATtainment, quality, profitable growth and customer sATisfaction. Maintains a positive WORK environment emphasizing trust and high ethics.
Provides customers with hardware and software recommendATions for the full HP product line of Retail Point of Sale and Blade PC's. Engages appropriATe resources to increase sales of complex service solutions.
Contacts sales prospects via telephone, email, or web. Maintains understanding of customer plATforms and applicATion. Closes sales orders to fulfill customer requirements. May act as channels controller to involve third parties and leverage resources to fulfill customer applicATions needs. CommunicATes critical informATion among HP Partners and customers.
Co-ordinATes resources (field sales, sales support, administrATive groups, service delivery, call center cross-functional groups, etc.) to meet customer needs.
This requires an understanding of customer equipment and applicATion needs. Will be required to participATe in RFPs, RFQs, benchmarking, unsolicited proposals, technical configurATions, and set pricing strATegies.
Plays key role in account planning and implementATion of action items with field specialty sales representATives.
Responsible for the creATion and set-up of incremental direct accounts.
May serve as project manager for specific sales promotions, campaigns, or projects. Outbound calling, up-selling, and follow-up on leads generATed through a variety of sources.
The person will be WORK FROM HOME and must be independent, focused, self motivATed, and have follow-through skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION Minimum formal educATion level or equivalent necessary to perform this job.
o4 years of college or equivalent WORK experience
EXPERIENCE Minimum prior job relATed experience necessary to perform this job.
o1- 3 years inside sales or field sales experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS IndicATe the demonstrATed verbal and written communicATion skills necessary to perform this position.
