Job Description
Your Role:
This new position is responsible for prospecting and setting qualified appointments for our sales team. Your mission is to identify and qualify leads for Orbius online community software product to corporate customers nationally. You will be reaching out to contact mostly VP of Marketing and members responsible for Interactive Marketing programs. A successful career path leads to a profitable and rewarding role as an account manager.
Daily Responsibilities:
· Generate outbound call activity and account research needed to achieve and exceed meeting setup targets.
· Probe prospective customers to determine and quantify need.
· Team with outside account managers to seamlessly transition account responsibility.
· Understand primary business issues of prospective organizations and how individuals and/or departments within the organization are impacted
· Display a knowledge and understanding of Orbius’s products, services, vendor relationships and interfaces to a level that enables the rep to identify if Orbius has an offering for a given prospect. Coordinate with outside reps to ensure smooth transition of qualified prospects
· Maintain accurate and current information regarding the status of each client contact in Orbius’s CRM system (Zoho CRM- just like salesforce.com)
Professional Experience:
Experience in cold calling and lead generation required;
Experience being on the phone as a mainstay of your daily routine;
A minimum one-year inside and/or outside sales experience;
A passion and aptitude for sales;
Desire to be continually learning and able to problem solve by using available resources;
Excellent interpersonal skills and has an engaging personality;
Excellent English speaking skills;
Excellent communication, problem solving, time-management and phone skills;
A strong entrepreneurial work ethic and motivation;
Experience working for in a small, entrepreneurial company environment is helpful;
Ability to effectively build relationships with business professionals;
Proficiency in MS® Office - Outlook, Word, Excel;
College degree preferred, but not required.
Other Job Information:
Able to work from home office;
No travel required.
Compensation:
$32k to $35K base pay.
Paid bi-weekly with monthly sales performance commissions.
Monthly commission of $500 expected after first 60 days of training and initial prospecting.
