Position Description At Lenovo, we strive to put more innovation in the hands of more people so they can do more amazing things. That is why we are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong relationship and negotiation skills for a Global Account Manager position to manage Lenovos Global Accounts in the New York Metropolitan, New Jersey and Southern Connecticut territory. This position will also be responsible for acquiring new Global Accounts for Lenovo in this region. There are two positions available in this territory. The Global Account Manager will be responsible for driving worldwide revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Lenovos Global accounts in the NY/NJ/CT area. This individual will be managing and maintaining account relationships through senior level engagements. They will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for an effective rollout. The Global Account Manager will also be engaged with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, and resource planning.Position Requirements - 5 to 7 year proven track record in strategic selling to Large Enterprise Accounts in a high tech industry required. - PC industry or server sales experience required. - Successful track record selling to C level executives - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills - Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements - Strong financial acumen
