Base Salary plus Commission
The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting monthly sales goal for an assigned territory through the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan to sell and promote Senior Services products and Individual Products. Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Delivers formal sales presentations to consumer groups,
Arrange private appointments in the customers’ homes,
Makes outbound phone calls to prospects,
Manages customer records in the automated lead tracking system according to the department’s standards.
Identifies opportunities within the territory to generate leads in addition to those provided by the company through building relationships with contracted medical providers, senior organizations and other community leaders.
Educates these groups about Senior Services/Individual products.
Cross sells specified products from other departments.
Provides field services to existing customers in an effort to retain customer base.
Complete other duties as assigned.
***This is typically a work from home position with the company supplying necessary equipment including PC and Blackberry. Personal time is not granted during normal business hours in the 4th quarter, except during company holidays as approx 42% of the annual business takes effect on January 1. ***
College graduate preferred.
Health license required.
Must have superior verbal communication and presentation skills along with planning, organizational and analytical skills.
Strong work ethic.
Coupled with continual ability to proactively generate and build leadbase.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office along with 3-5 years of field sales or similar sales experience.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.
Prefer candidates with experience working with the Medicare eligible population/individual markets.
80% travel required within the state especially during October through December of each year. Reliable transportation a must.
