Our Client is a hospital in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area seeking a Director of Critical Care Services Department: CCC-Critical Care Ctr Mgt Schedule: Full-time Shift: day shift The Director has twenty-four hour accountability for the integration, facilitation, and coordination of the leadership, management, clinical and quality initiatives of the Critical Care Services. This position serves as a professional role model, leader, and mentor to members of the healthcare team in accordance with organizational and departmental philosophy and goals. This position represents the Critical Care Services and is a liaison to internal and external customers. The Director coordinates the development of an environment that promotes excellence in Critical Care Services clinical practice and customer satisfaction, while striving for optimal efficiency and productivity of all resources. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Health Related Field or Business required. Master degree preferred. 2. Must possess current license as a Registered Nurse FROM the State of Virginia. 3. Minimum 6 years nursing experience. 4. Minimum 4 years clinical management experience. 5. Critical Care Nursing certification preferred. Other Qualifications: 1. Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication. 2. Experience with electronic systems and programs. 3. Ability to WORK in a stressful environment. 4. Demonstrates collaboration with physicians, staff and MediCorp Associates. 5. Demonstrates the ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. 6. This position provides services and demonstrates the knowledge and ability to meet the specific needs of various patient age groups. SALARY: Salary scale is a national projection ($88,000-125,000), so it may vary depending on geographic location. Specific information will be provided upon preliminary screening with our client. Used for holidays, personal, and sick days based upon years of service and numbers of hours paid to WORK. (2) Medical and Dental Coverage For our full-time and part-time Associates. Provides for three choices of coverage, and within each choice, your options include Associate only, Associate plus one minor, Associate plus spouse, and family plans. Also provides two dental plan options: standard and enhanced option. (3) Vision Insurance This is available to all full-time and part-time Associates. Vision coverage provides for expenses such as eye exams, glasses and contact lenses. (4) Life Insurance For full-time Associates, basic life insurance is equivalent to one & one half times your annualized base salary. An additional insurance of up to five times your annual base salary may be purchased. Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage can be purchased up to $1,000,000. Part-time Associates qualify for $5,000 in company-paid basic life insurance. Supplemental term life may be purchased, in $5,000 increments up to $45,000. Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage can be purchased up to $250,000. (5) Long Term Disability Full-time Associates qualify after one year of full-time service. This provides 60 percent of monthly base earnings, not to exceed $10,000 per month. Coverage begins after 180 days of total disability. (6) Short Term Disability For full-time Associates. Provides 60 percent of weekly base earnings, not to exceed $1000 per week. Coverage begins after 8 days of medical disability and may continue for up to 22 weeks. (7) Service Awards For all Associates for each five-year service period. Awards are presented AT a recognition dinner. (8) Supplemental Retirement Plan For all Associates. Opportunity for pre-tax investments for supplemental retirement. We will also match some of your contributions after you have completed one year of service and 1,000 hours of worked time.
