Volt Technical Resources is looking for an experienced ASIC and FPGA Design Engineer whose responsibilities will be the design and verification of communication, signal processing, and cryptographic functions for a wide variety of projects using ASICs and FPGAs. The responsibilities will also include testbench development for the verification of these functions.
We are seeking a contractor to work off-site for a local company out of Cedar Rapids, IA. This candidate will work from home or at the Volt facility in Cedar Rapids. REQUIREMENTS:
Required skills for this Design Engineer position include the following:
Programming experience with VHDL, familiarity with FPGA tools, and working knowledge of RTL simulation tools such as Mentor Graphics ModelSim are required. Familiarity with System Verilog and assertion based verification methodology is desirable.
A successful candidate for this position will have 5 years of relevant/similar work experience along with a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering.
