Job Description .

Job Purpose:
To develop new and to serve existing wireless broadband customers by identifying their needs, matching wireless solutions to applications, developing strategies to make a positive impact on their business.


Sales Territory and Verticals Markets:

Positions are available for Southeast, Northeast, Southwest and Western Regions.

Vertical Market knowledge of Carriers, both ISP and Cellular, Federal, State and Local Government, Healthcare and Education

Background and Experience Required:

- 5+ years in outside sales of wireless or inter-networking solutions including WIFI, WiMAX, Microwave Radio, Routers/Switch/Hub, physical security solutions.

- Self Starter, Organized, Independent, Aggressive, Customer Focused with an emphasis on and ability to develop accounts into long-term strategic customers.

- Working closely with manufacturer representatives for business development

- Ability to work independently from a home based office

- Travel up to 50%


Duties:
* Establishes new broadband accounts by surveying business conditions and opportunities; identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales-call schedule; setting appointments with potential customers.

* Provides broadband product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests at the sales call; creating possible solutions.

* Prepares solutions, cost estimates, and contract documents by studying blueprints, plans and related customer information; coordinating requirements with engineers; analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services; preparing materials and labor documents, and contracts.

* Closes sale by demonstrating benefit to the customer; explaining costs involved; obtaining contract signatures and deposit on material services.

* Meets broadband sales objectives by maintaining customer list; discussing progress with Sales Manager; identifying obstacles in closing agreements; developing solutions to improve closing ratio.

* Maintains broadband customer satisfaction by maintaining rapport with current accounts; evaluating service level; identifying and resolving problems; escalating problems for appropriate resolutions; notifying senior management of potential service failures.

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by understanding new broadband technologies; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

* Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues to senior management; recommending courses of action; implementing directives; pitching in when necessary to maintains services.
