We are looking for a Sr. Network engineer to help support a 24/7/365 web hosting environment. Daily duties will include but are not limited to: configuring firewall connections, layer 3 switching configuration, configuring VPN access for various clients, researching security incidents, building network servers, disaster recovery design and testing, bandwidth management, and general system support.
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years experience supporting a medium to large networks
- 2 years experience in Cisco PIX firewalls
- 2 years experience in Cisco layer 3 switching
- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet networks
- Experience in supporting Windows 2003 Server
Pluses:
- Experience in F5 BIG IP application switches a plus
- Experience in SAN ISCSI networks a plus
- Experience in with Linux OS flavors a plus
- Experience in DR planning and testing a plus
