A multi-billion-dollar statistical arbitrage hedge fund is seeking
candidates for a Senior Software Engineer position. This person will
participate in the development of a high frequency parallel system for
trading thousands of stocks, futures, and options around the world.
Operations are conducted with the use of a 64-bit Linux cluster with
over 170 processors, 200GB RAM, and 100 TB of disk storage.
Candidates should be bright, enthusiastic, self-motivated,
detail-oriented, and should have an excellent command of written and
spoken English.
The following skills are required:
- C/C++ under UNIX/Linux
- Shell scripting under UNIX/Linux
- A BS-level degree in Computer Science (or in an Engineering or Science
field,along with extensive CS coursework)
This is a full-time position based in Greenwich, CT. Due to the
international nature of our operations, occasional night and weekend
work may be required. Candidates will be expected to complete one or
more phone interviews, work - at - home programming assignments, and
on-site interviews.
