Product Designer - Seasonal Home Decor
Description:
Supree Creations, Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers of Christmas stockings, tree skirts and fabric decor. Our NJ based team is seeking a product designer to join its creative department to develop exciting new fabric items. Products include Christmas Stockings, Tree Skirts, Plush Table-top and more. Our products are sold at Drug Stores, Supermarkets, Big Box Retailers and Independents nation wide.
We are looking for a Designer to fill the following position:
Product Designer:
No less than 3 years of direct product design experience in gift, seasonal or home decor.
Strong knowledge of current fashion and color trends.
Experience in working directly with overseas factories and production.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
Illustration skills are a strong plus!
Must be in sync with home, fashion and retail trends.
Salary is $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience
Responsibilities for this position will include developing new themes for product categories, creating characters and color pallets, developing product based on customer style guides, trend research and more.
This is an in-house position located in the Cherry Hill/Marlton New Jersey area. There is potential to work from home on select days, based on candidate's capabilities. Travel overseas to China factory will be required 2-3 times per year with design director and sales/marketing execs.
