Infrastructure Consultant
Our infrastructure practice has identified the need for multiple Intel VM Ware consultants to support multiple clients in multiple locations. These candidates must have US Citizenship.
Work location will be work from home and with a location at the customer designated location / all work will be based out of the USA. Some work will require travel outside of the USA.
Intel Architect
- desire experiences in infrastructure server consolidations
- Desire person with Intel virtualization experiences with VM Ware or M/S Virtual Server
- Desire person with application server consolidations
- Design back ground in the Intel server environments is a plus
- Application experiences is a plus
- Enterprise platform experiences (e.g. SAP, ERP, etc) is a plus
Plus:
- Back ground in SAN and or storage experiences on EMC gear is a plus
- Network experiences with the installation of hardware platforms is a plus
Detailed responsibilities:
- Research the current server platforms and develop the "As Is" picture of the environments
- Develop a consolidation to a targeted architecture and be able to build out a Bill of material
- Develop a transformational plan to move the client from the "As Is" to the "To Be" targeted environment by phases
- Asset in the detailed transformational tasks to move the environments to new virtualized environments on the physical servers
- Work with patent pending Blueprint processes for Infrastructure Rationalization to perform the architecture role in the process sets and templates
