HotSkills, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development (DBD) for our Subject Matter Expert (SME) consulting services area. The desired individual will have a home office in the Greater Los Angeles area.

Job Description:
The selected individual will be responsible for driving sales within our SME consulting practice. This person will bring to the table established relationships and clients that have a need to bring in information security related consultants for any number of projects. This includes new business development and client relationship management once the new client signs on. The DBD will operate from his/her home office in the Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego area and will be focusing efforts on the West Coast. The DBD will report to our Principal and Director of Client Relationships, who reports directly to the CEO. The DBD will be responsible for creating opportunity within his/her client base as it pertains to our SME services. We have a very effective delivery and recruiting model, and are ready to pair this delivery model with a strong sales model. Our ISMS solutions practice is already well established, so the selected individual will eventually begin to sell ISMS solutions in addition to SME consulting services.

Salary/Benefits:
The DBD will earn a base salary of $80-90K + comprehensive benefits that include health, dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life. Our benefit package is inclusive and has been referred to on many occasions as *excellent*, as there is very little out-of-pocket expense incurred by the employee. In addition to base salary and benefits, the DBD will earn commission off sales closed within his/her client base. Commission is based off net profit earned per hour, per consultant. Earning potential is limitless, as there is no cap on our commission plan. You will also work from home full-time, allowing for a work/life balance that is difficult to find in today*s workplace.

Who we*re looking for:
The desired individual will have a minimum of five years experience with technical staff augmentation, consulting services, or a combination of both with at least one-year experience specifically within information security services and/or selling technical security solutions. Must have experience selling to the C-level, executive, VP, and/or Director level. Must have existing clients and not be bound by a non-compete or non-solicitation contract of any sort. Must be capable of ramping up quickly and have the capability to utilize CRM tool (Salesboom.com) to enter in calls and track progress. Will work with our Director of Client Relationships to establish a quota plan for 1, 3, and 6-month timeframes.
