Description

Position: Dealer Marketing Officer for CitiCapital Franchise Finance s (CFF) Petroleum Finance Group

Responsibilities: Market term loans to gas station dealers within a specified geographic territory. Full responsibility for identifying prospects, developing and deploying marketing programs, understanding and presenting loan products to customers, negotiating and structuring loan terms, compiling and presenting loan packages to Credit underwriting, working with Credit underwriters toward loan approval, and interfacing with customer throughout the credit approval, due diligence, documentation and funding processes.

Specific Duties:

Identify target market prospects via trade shows, mailers, referrals, loan broker relationships, Citigroup affiliates, etc.

Plan and conduct customer sales calls

Present products to customer

Structure and price loans

Close customer sale

Collect and present well-organized loan packages to CitiCapital credit department

Shepherd loans through CitiCapital credit-approval, due diligence, documentation and funding processes

Work effectively with CFF Credit department

Manage customer relationships to maximize referrals and future opportunities

After appropriate ramp-up, produce $20- to-$25 million in new loans annually.

Specifications / Qualifications .

Ideal Background and Strengths:

Strong interpersonal skills

Demonstrated integrity and professionalism

Financial Product/ loan sales experience with a successful sales track-record

Understanding of small business financial statements

Ability to perform fundamental cash flow analysis using MS Excel

A credit background is helpful

Knowledge/Experience in retail petroleum industry

Good writing and presentation skills

Self-directed with ability to work effectively from home office

Strong computer skills for spreadsheet analysis, word processing, email and Web-based applications

Ideal candidate will reside within his/her geographic territory

Travel

Work from home office or local Citi office, if available

Visit customers and their site(s), as appropriate

Attend local ®ional industry trade shows

Visit to Irvine, CA headquarters, 2-4 times per year
