***WORK FROM HOME - Web Systems Admin - AIX/Websph

Intertec Consulting specializes in placing Information Technology professionals with Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. and Costa Rica. Currently, we are putting together a team of Systems Administrators for a client to work remotely from their home office anywhere in the USA. These positions are 1 year contract opportunities - either W2 OR 1099 (corp to corp).

2nd or 3rd shift candidates preferred.

This client needs people with AIX Administration experience - must have experience in Administering servers for the WEB.

Requirements:
- AIX/Unix systems administration
- Websphere - all of their deployments are with websphere.
- If no websphere experience, you should have VERY STRONG OS skills and other Web Servers(IHS, Apache) experience to compensate for it.
- Must have high speed internet service and a phone line (toll-free calls).

In essence, these positions are as a Web Hosting Systems Administrator/Transition Engineer. You will be part of a team responsible for migrating projects from development through production within the web complex. You will be responsible for installation and testing of applications into QA and production environments utilizing IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ Series, DCE/DFS, AIX, Sun Solaris, Windows 2000/2003, shell scripting, DB2 in a very large scale environment (Over 2500 servers between development, quality assurance and production).
