Possess a Bachelors or PharmD degree in Pharmacy; hold an active New Jersey pharmacist license in good standing and reside in the State of New Jersey; assigned work location noted above. . Successful experience supervising pharmacists; experience supervising a distributed/remote work force strongly preferred. . Experience in and a thorough operational understanding of Medcos Home Delivery operations programs required. . One to three (3) years of experience; mail order, retail or community practice setting; commitment to provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care. . Proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. . Ability to uphold strict confidentiality of customer and employee records. . Ability to exercise good, sound professional judgment and decision making. . Excellent clinical and technical skills; proven teamwork and collaboration skills. . Demonstrated excellent performance in quality assurance principles and methodology; ability to balance objectives of high quality with high efficiency. . Demonstrated strong telephone communication skills; effective interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to change; flexibility. . Experienced and successful in discussing drug therapies with prescribers. . Willingness and ability to follow SOPs; deductive reasoning and analytical skills. . Strong PC skills including operating system based research. . Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. . Willingness to actively pursue opportunities to keep up skills and acquires other relevant skills through Continuing Education resources; maintains current knowledge of profession. . Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment. . Demonstrated attention to detail; Strong interpersonal skills. . Successfully complete pre-employment, drug screen and criminal background check. Be responsible for a team of work from home RPhs who perform prescription assessment and verification that may include DUR, Formulary, Professional Review, contact patients &physicians to review savings opportunities, related activities, through order review/completion; but not including distribution. . Coordinate team efforts in conducting a variety of managed care services related to pharmacy benefit management. . Support operational enhancements, process improvements, and day to day field operations. . Support quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance activities. . Author and/or assist in creating relevant business SOPs. . Work toward agreed upon objectives in an ethical manner, using all skills and capabilities. . Provide management pertinent and relevant information on an ongoing basis. . Insure and support compliance with all Medco policies and procedures. . Performs other duties as assigned.
