SQL Server Data Conversion Specialist (SSIS)
Our client is implementing several new ERP systems and they need someone that is experienced with data conversions from legacy systems. They are converting the data from Oracle to SQL Server using SSIS.
This is an 18 month contract! In this role, you will have to be on site for the first 1 to 2 months, then you'll have the opportunity to work from home once you get up to speed on the project. You'll have to travel to Birmingham once a month or so for meetings.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of SQL Server database modeling and design
Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and Informatica, preferably SSIS (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services)
Experience with relational DBMS conversions, preferably both Oracle and SQL Server
Strong experience with SQL Server Stored Procedure development
Software development experience using C#, Visual Studio .NET, and SQL Server.
Strong background in data transformation / data conversion (DTS &SSIS)
Corp to Corp, 1099, and w2 contracting is ok for this position.
