All we really need here is 3+ years of VB.NET, ASP.NET and strong SQL / TSQL, the rest is helpful, like C#, or XML, or AJAX.

We are recruiting a senior level .NET Developer for our client, with a very unique and rare opportunity to excel and be well rewarded and respected for your performance. They seek a dot net developers with fire in their belly to succeed in developing and coding VB.NET, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2005, and some C#. These applications are advanced and cutting edge software running across the internet. Very complex ASP.NET and complex SQL. Develop n-tier, object oriented, web-based applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET 2.0, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2005, TSQL, AJAX. Intelligent team. Great work atmosphere. Wear your jeans and your favorite T-shirts to work. This is an IT development job, with releases happening every week. Releases must happen on schedule. They decide what will go in each release up front and they don t cram so much into each release with so much stuff that people have to work late every day to get there. If developers get behind on their work, then they may need to stay later or work from home to catch back up. If a development team is in the middle of a launch or QA break / fix cycle, then those developers need to be available to work the issues that are found with their code until a resolution is found, in order to stay on track and deliver the next release. Actually the business users work with development to come up with what can make it into the release, and what can t. Dallas, Texas - Irving, Texas - Las Colinas location.
Required Skills:
3+ years of VB.NET coding experience design, development, and coding of VB.NET, ASP.NET (some C# is helpful). 3+ years of ASP.NET experience preferred. ASP.NET 2.0 preferred. SQL Server skills/experience, including TSQL; SQL Server 2005 preferred. SQL query optimization preferred.
