Description WHY JOIN THE HARTFORD? * The Hartford Customer Services Group (HCSG) was founded in 1998 in response to AARPs decision to make The Hartford the member services provider for its group health insurance program. * HCSG is the key service provider to AARP Health Care Options, a program offering health care solutions to AARP members and their families. Products include Long Term Care, Medicare Supplement, Hospital Indemnity, Hospital Advantage, and Supplemental Medical Plans. * HCSG is a customer contact center specializing in customer service and sales for the 50+ marketplace. HCSGs clients include: United Health Care, MetLife, Genworth, Delta Dental, Aetna and EyeMed. Headquartered in Fort Washington, PA, with an office in Allentown, PA, HCSG has approximately 1,200 employees. * HCSG is a business unit of The Hartford Personal Lines, which is part of The Hartford Worldwide Property-Casualty Operations. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? * Acquisition representatives are expected to handle both inbound and outbound call functions and provide an overview of the AARP Healthcare Options benefits and services. Additionally, the Acquisition representative will send information packages to individuals who are interested in enrolling in one of our insurance products. Coverage options include Comprehensive Insurance for member s ages 50-64, Medicare Supplement plans, Long Term Care, and Dental Plans. Acquisition representatives have an intricate role in the customer experience and the growth of our business. CAREER PATH OPPORTUNITES - 1 Year (Opportunities for employees in good performance standing) * Sales Licensing within 3-6 months of employment - Accident &Health Producer s License - * Sales positions include competitive Sales Incentive Plan paid out monthly. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to identify customer needs through active listening techniques * Confident and persuasive with strong verbal communication skills * Flexible and receptive to frequently changing programs, procedures and priorities * High School Diploma, or GED * Detail oriented, with ability to multi-task (system navigation while providing customer solutions) * Bilingual Spanish skills a plus which will earn extra compensation!
