Acquisition/New Business representativeswill provide assistance to AARP members who have expressed an interest in our products, such as: Long Term Care, Medicare Supplement, Hospital Indemnity, Hospital Advantage, and Supplemental Medical Plans, with an overview of these AARP Healthcare Options benefits and services. In this position you will be expected to handle both inbound and outbound functions. Class begins January 28, 2008 Full-time hours are 9:55 a.m. - 6:35 p.m. PAID training period for 7 weeks (3 weeks classroom and 4 weeks on-the-job training). Ability to work some Saturdays, approximately 3 per quarter Sales Licensing within 3-6 months of employment - Accident &Health Producer s License - Sales positions include competitive Sales Incentive Plan paid out monthly. Telecommuter Positions available after 1 year of employment - WORK FROM HOME

Qualifications WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION? Ability to identify customer needs by using Listen, Acknowledge, Make a statement, Ask a Question technique Confident and persuasive with strong verbal communication skills Flexible and receptive to frequently changing programs, procedures and priorities Ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly Technically savvy, experienced using PC in Windows 2000 environment, Siebel application experience a plus! Detail oriented, ability to multi-task Bilingual Spanish skills a plus which will earn extra compensation! WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY? At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance. The base salary for this position is $28,000.
