Sales Project Engineer Job Description:
Aerotek Energy Services has an immediate need for Sales Project Engineer with an engineering firm located in Southern Orange County, CA. The Sales Project Engineer will need to have at least a BSEE or equivalent in engineering with 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or the utility industry. The base salary is $50,000/year - $60,000/year depending on experience level with bonuses. The Sales Project Engineer is a flexible role and remote work from a home is possible for most tasks.
Duties &Responsibilities:
-Build and entertain customer relationships with local clients in California, primarily from existing associate with customers in the hospitality business, department stores, hospitals and shopping centers.
-Present cost savings opportunities through the use of turn-key energy demand and control systems at various levels within a customer's organization.
-Conduct load studies and energy audits at customer's facility energy audits, determine overall technical and financial feasibility of energy savings due to demand control measures.
-Write project proposals, estimate project cost for the installation and calculate pay back time of automated demand control installations.
-Become familiar with all currently available energy demand control and management incentive programs applicable to our industrial target customers currently offered by California government agencies and/or electric utility companies.
-Participate in government work groups regarding new demand savings, control and response initiatives regarding energy management and information systems solutions.
-Research all major California electric utility companies to understand their current and future tariff structure for industrial customers.
Requirements:
-3-5 years experience in electrical engineering or utility industry (candidates must have industry experience for consideration).
-Familiar with small business environments
-BSEE or equivalent in engineering
