The First Advantage HRLogix Division (www.hrlogix.com) seeks a QA Analyst to support testing enterprise-level software products. This person will work with the latest Web and SOA technologies.
The QA Analyst will be responsible for the development of test plans or strategies, test cases or scripts, execution of scripts, and logging defects. QA Analyst will work with a variety of Software Development LifeCycles including Waterfall, Iterative and Agile. Experience with HP-Mercury product line is desirable but not required. Opportunities to learn how to use the Mercury Product suite are available including LoadRunner, Quick Test Pro, Quality Center (FKA Test Director) and WinRunner. Flextime and Work From Home opportunities are available for candidates after grace period.
Requirements; 2-3 years experience testing Web, Client-Server, etc applications (3-4 preferred)
Bachelor Degree required (Preferred in CIS, MIS, etc..). Candidates with significantly more experience and associates degree will be considered.
Coding experience not required (familiarity with one or more coding languages including OOP, JavaScript, SQL, desirable)
Fundamental understanding of relational databases (SQL Sever, Oracle, DB2, etc..)
Nice to have: Solaris 10 knowledge and be bi-lingual
Must have the ability to work with virtual teams with Development and Business Analytical staff in remote locations. Will need to work with off-shore testing team in collaboration for project delivery.
