Medical Billing Supervisor
Location: Weymouth, MA 02190; Salary/Wage: USD 41,600.00 /year
Based on experience .
Status: Full Time, Employee; Job Category: Accounting/Finance .
Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years; Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) .
Education Level: High School or equivalent .
Job Description
Full Time Position.
Five plus years experience.
Must be able to work independently and deal with software and insurance issues to their resolution.
Responsible for maintaining a low days in receivable.
Able to analyze patient s accounts to determine if there is an issue to be resolved. Experience dealing with clearinghouse issues with 837 and 835 files.
Duties involve posting electronic remittances, reviewing denied EOB s, fixing claims, reviewing aging report, assist staff with their questions. Small company that would require Supervisor to step in and perform staff duties when necessary.
Successful candidate will be a multitasker, independent and be able to work from home. Must be able to work from 8:00 am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. Must have highspeed internet connection and pc with updated Windows applications.
