Patent Agent Needed for Long Term (Indefinite) Contract Opportunity with Major Chemical Company in Wilmington. Added Benefit, work form home 75% of the time!
We represent a very well known international corporation in the Wilmington area that is looking to bring on board a patent agent. If you have a chemistry background, ideally in Organic or Inorganic chemistry this might be the job for you. Patents that you will be working on will be based primarily in commericial chemistry. For expample you may be working on products such dealing with water proofing, stone textiles, paper, lubricants, cleaners and environmental cleaning technology.
Ideal candidates will have two plus years as a patent agent. The majority of the position will focus on drafting reviewing and preparing patent applications. Other expectations would include meeting with inventors, some research on principles of the patent application and some patent searching.
This position would be a continuously renewed contract scheduled to last several years at a minimum and could potentially be indefinite. They position is scheduled to start in January 2008 and would provide benefits including health insurance, holiday pay and vacation pay. This position would also allow candidate to work from home at least 75% of the time. The salary range for the position is between 83-93K but may be open to negotiation for the right candidate.
