Seeking a Compliance Monitoring Examiner to execute compliance monitoring projects. Projects will involve "look back" examinations to ensure compliance with regulatory and business practices &requirements. Participate in other projects including risk assessments to ensure proper monitoring of compliance risks within the organization.
The staff member may be based in any U.S. location. The consultant will work from home when not on assignment and travel extensively - up to up to 75%.
Implements, researches, develops, administers and coordinates activities related to insurance regulatory compliance and/or business practice compliance. May provide services at the compliance program/enterprise level and/or focus on the compliance projects for a specific product line, BU/SSUs or a specific compliance issue.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent 5 or more years of related experience.
Commercial Lines experience preferred.
Underwriting compliance experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, project management and relationship management skills.
Possess a deep technical knowledge of insurance products, processes and services.
An ability to think and act strategically and creatively and help contribute to compliance improvement initiatives.
Possess an ability to work in a high change environment and possess strong change management skills.
Strong written and oral communication and influencing skills.
Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
