Job Description: Securities Licensing Instructor, Financial Training RegEd, the industry leader in providing online continuing education and compliance management systems to the financial and insurance industries, is expanding our financial training instructor team. We are currently seeking an experienced classroom instructor to teach live and virtual securities licensing exam prep classes including Series 6 and 63. This position is to be based in the NYC metro area. The selected candidate will be expected to work from home and onsite at client locations in the tri-state area. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation skills, a high level of enthusiasm and energy, and experience in delivering stand-up classroom training in the financial services industry. A high level of subject matter expertise regarding investments and securities regulations is required. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have current or expired securities licenses. Responsibilities Include: . Teach live classroom courses onsite at major clients . Teach online, interactive courses for securities licensing exams . Participate in evaluation and development of study materials . Provide ongoing telephone and email support to students and managers . Other duties as assigned
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Business Manager Position Qualifications . Two years experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a broker-dealer . Home office with reliable high-speed internet connection . Experience in a non- IT training role strongly preferred . Compliance experience a plus . Excellent presentation skills . Experience with MS Office Live Meeting or WebEx a plus . Must be self-motivated and thrive under limited direct supervision Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential. Successful instructors will possess the ability to communicate complex topics in easy to understand language. Dynamic, engaging personality and a strong sense of humor are essential. Education: Bachelors Degree Compensation This is a full-time position.
