We are looking for several independent flex consultants in the U.S. or Canada to do custom Flex component development. These components will be developed in ActionScript 3.0 against the Flex 2.0.1 API. (no MXML.)

Your qualifications for doing custom Flex component development. Please note that this type of development is far more advanced than simply building GUI screens out of existing Flex components. A brief written summary of your Flex experience, along with examples of past work or source code would be helpful. If you've not done much in the way of custom Flex component development before, but you know what it involves and are confident that you could do it effectively, write a few paragraphs explaining why that is so.
