We are searching for a Field Applications Engineer with 10 years of experience and excellent Unix / Linux and C skills development skills within the telecom or data networking arena.
Are you open to working from a home office and traveling up to 50% in the Western half of the US?
What you will be doing:
~ Provide pre-sales technical support
~ Provide technical presentations and demonstrations
~ Conduct architectural whiteboard discussions
~ Manage customer evaluations to successful conclusion
~ Provide smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales support
~ Conduct short training sessions for clients
~ Responsible for technical satisfaction of accounts
~ Assist and train partner channels
What you will need for this position:
BS, CS
10 + years of experience as a Field Applications Engineer or Developer
Excellent presentation skills
Data Networking or Telecom technical development experience
Provable fluency in Unix / Linux and C
Technical sales experience w/ demonstrated success
NETCONF
SNMP
Java
JavaScript/AJAX/Web technologies
VMware Workstation
Webex
Must be highly motivated and able to show initiative
Ability to work as part of team
Able to travel 50%
