Thomson Corporation has built a business consulting organization to assist our CPA customers with business process re-engineering while managing the successful implementation of our CPA Software Products. These products include GoFileRoom, the award-winning Web-based workflow and We are seeking to fill aBusiness Consultant or Sr. Business Analystopening position based out of Ann Arbor, Dallas, Los Angeles, and New Jersey. (Work from home arrangements may be available for the right candidate)
In this position you will be responsible for implementing CPA Software for CPA firms across the country.
Responsibilities will include: * Analyze and recommend optimal system configuration and business procedures based on industry best practices * Meet with customer to determine workflow, business procedures and technical needs * Prepare and present implementation plans for customer approval * Installation and configuration of software and server components * Provide on-going business consultative guidance to customers * Daily interaction with high level business professionals * Work from home arrangements may be available for the right candidate
Qualifications * Minimum BA or BS in Business, MIS, Accounting or Communications * Minimum of five (5) years of business systems implementation experience * Strong business process and analytical skills are essential * Strong facilitation, presentation and organizational skills are essential * High proficiency with web-based systems and MS office (specifically Powerpoint) * Accounting industry (CPA firms) experience/knowledge is highly desired * Document management software experience/knowledge is highly desired About Thomson Corporation TheThomson Corporationis a leading global provider of integrated information solutions to business and professional customers.
