Ideal candidate has experience in public accounting as well as some industry accounting experience. 5+ years of experience as well as comfort in a hands on role is a must. Candidates with a CPA certification will be considered first.
Description:
Large non-profit association based in Denver is seeking a controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA seeking a position with excellent work/life balance and a well-defined growth track. This position will direct the accounting and finance function for a national associations. Responsibilities include supervision of a small staff, running month end close, financial statement preparation, and budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. This is a hands on role that offers excellent work/life balance, flexibility to work from home when need be, and growth into a CFO role in the next year.
