Brief Description The Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect is responsible for working with clients senior level technical and business resources to understand their business needs and help shape the desired solution. They will provide sales support, assist in delivery efforts and help identify and deploy the best approaches for matching Oracle Applications and Technology to solve customers specific business challenges.

Responsibilities
Sales Support (Consulting &License) . Work with clients business executives and IT managers to understand their business priorities and challenges through discovery workshops. . Formulate appropriate customer solutions combining Oracle Applications, Technology and Partner offerings. . Understand key industry trends, standards, performance indicators applicable to the solution proposed. . Develop high level implementation roadmaps and project estimates to describe how customers can transition to proposed solutions. . Ensure successful opportunity transition to Sales Organization.
Project Delivery . Ensure successful handoff of project responsibilities to Delivery Organization . Assist customers &project team to better leverage their Oracle Assets after Enterprise License Agreement . Maintain project contact as a sponsor/trusted advisor to to assist in risk mitigation, quality assurance process and successful implementation. . Establish Oracle as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in key accounts.
Internal Support . Interact with Global, Technical Business Unit, Industry Business Units, and Product Marketing to facilitate knowledge sharing between various groups. . Develop and maintain implementation best practices for the successful deployment of technologies, products, and applications in the designated industry. . Contribute to the Solution Architects Professional Community. . Keep abreast of the latest Oracle technology and current industry trends. . Present to and advise Oracle personnel on implementation best practices for the designated industry. . Act as a mentor to other members of architect teams and other professional services personnel. . Take leadership role in promoting newer industry solutions and configurations including knowledge sharing events and groups within Oracle.
Partner Support . Help our Partners understand the Oracle Solutions Value Proposition. . Provide Application and Technology expertise to partners during pre/post sales activities. . Present to and advise partners on implementation best practices.
Professional Competencies * In-depth skills in one or more of the following areas (*): * Industry expertise * Oracle Applications * Oracle technologies * Broad Cross-Portfolio Product understanding (*) * Ability to craft and articulate a Strategic Solutions (*) * In-depth knowledge of Implementation methodologies and best practices(*) * Knowledge of Partner Products &Technology * Knowledge of Competitive Products &Technology * 10+ years experience in major IT projects involving the whole business process * Project Management * Motivated, self starter, with strong presentation, communication, problem solving skills * Ability to address, persuade and interact with senior and executive level positions as well as all levels of system end-users
These arepermanent full-time positions with Oracle Consulting in the US. 100% Travel - Candidates MUST be willing and able to travel 100%. Candidates can live anywhere in US as long as they can travel. Work from Home / Virtual Office when not on client site or travel.
