QT C++ Developer - GUI, Linux - REMOTE Workers are acceptable
Based in Needham, MA, we are a fast growing internet/online services organization with sales growing exponentially each year. Due to massive growth for our services, we are currently recruiting for a FT/Permanent Sr. QT C++ Software Developer to join our small team of engineering professionals. You will be leading the development of a Qt-based cross-platform, networked, client with emphasis on GUI Development on a Windows platform. We are currently developing a next generation communication platform utilizing the QT toolkit and C++. This platform will target a wide audience with a variety of services including VOIP. We are looking for a lead Client/GUI developer to bring this to market.
Must Have Skills:
1.) 5+ years of experience in Object Oriented SW Development including C/C++ design experience.
2.) We need someone that is an expert in GUI &End-user facing software development.
3.) This candidate will be developing on top of QT so needless to say QT/XML experience is required.
4.) Must be an adept cross platform developer with documented experience in Qt development
5.) BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related. Master's degree is a big plus.
Nice to have skills:
1.) Candidates with experience in QT tools would be given highest preference.
2.) Experience with Linux, Mac OS, Win32, Unix would be a plus
3.) Open Source experience would be a plus (especially PHP, MySQL)
4.) VOIP and SSL/TLS experience would be helpful.
