POSITION SUMMARY
A Senior Application Developer is responsible for the technical design and execution of TRIRIGA Application delivery using the TRIRIGA Momentum platform. The Sr. Application Developer manages day-to-day activities of Application Builders. Interacts with Project Management and Business Analysts to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of use cases, data and reporting requirements. Produces technical specifications based on these requirements.
The Senior Application Developer creates and manages project plans, task details, schedules, and milestones. Supervises and participates in execution details of application design. Assists management team in standards development, management, and conformance. Ensures timely issue escalation and resolution as well as timely execution of deadlines. Ensures quality output of team through validation and testing processes. Works with Product Management team to ensure accurate documentation and knowledge transfer for TRIRIGA Applications.
REQUIREMENTS
In depth knowledge of enterprise business applications required.
Excellent technical, verbal and written communications skills are necessary.
Strong leadership skills and ability to drive project initiatives.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be technical and have strong understating of all phases of software development life cycle.
At lease 5 years design and development on an enterprise level application.
Experience with team management for mission critical application environment.
Experience with Internet strategies and technology. 3 or more years experience in programming languages including; Java, C, C++, VB, NET, PHP, HTML, JSP, SQL, and XML.
Strong object-oriented design and relational database skills desired.
Working knowledge of Integrated Workplace Management Systems preferred.
EDUCATION
Masters Degree or BS Degree in Computer Science with 3-5 years in an application development role or equivalent work experience.
