This permanent position is with a great company in North Dallas. Relocation allowance will be offered. Selected candidate will be able to work from home and at the customer s site.
Key Accountabilities:
Coordinate and lead the customer s planning activities for new and existing clients, incorporating various in-house subject matter experts.
Develop an expertise in the clients business, organizational structure, corporate objectives, and competitive context.
Distill a working hypothesis regarding a client s business in a short timeframe with limited information.
Communicate business hypotheses in a rapid manner and conceptually develop hypothesis on the fly through internal or external discussion.
Facilitate client choices and manage client discussions while seamlessly advancing thought.
Manage multiple client relationships and act as client s thought partner and trusted advisor.
Manage tight deadlines and exceed expectations with considerable complexity and detail management.
Leverage the firm s capabilities towards broader service delivery for client accounts.
Reinforce our customer s leading practice position by leveraging specific learning into general firm knowledge development.
Minimum Requirements:
University degree; MBA an advantage
5+ years minimum business experience; at least 3 years in management consulting
Proven business development success in client accounts
Self-starter, self-disciplined, and able to work independently as required
Understanding of marketing communications, direct and database marketing helpful
Understanding of the interactive environment and associated program development
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Savvy communicator with the ability to think on his/her feet and instills confidence
Very strong writing and presentation skills
Well-honed interpersonal skills - ability to develop existing and new client relationships; extensive experience managing and leading client relationships with senior business and marketing executives
Demonstrated excellent planning, organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven project and team management abilities
Commitment to excellent client service
Ability to rapidly acquire an understanding of new technologies
Agile and adaptable to change
Excellent knowledge and ability to use MS Office applications, in particular the ability to professionally use PowerPoint is non-negotiable
Proven ability to work in an unstructured entrepreneurial environment
Pioneer: the ability to work in an area where existing paradigms and conventional wisdom is challenged to change the way organizations communicate with their customers
Sound industry and company research skills
Prior CPG/food service, or part of the value chain, retail level: Grocery stores, dollar stores, drug stores, etc. experience is a definite plus
Some Key Points:
Must be able to work autonomously with client stakeholders to develop hypotheses, facilitate choices, manage/process all necessary internal and external resources for project success.
Extensive experience managing and leading client relationships with senior business and marketing executives
A senior person who can and will get his/her hands dirty and can facilitate and lead discussions
High level of engagement with Senior stakeholders; an advisory relationship with them (hence, the management consulting background)
Some travel in the future: Toronto, Chicago, Memphis
Ability to roll up sleeves and able to to define what needs to be done
Strong relationship building skills and presentation skills; charismatic
