We are looking for uniquely qualified individuals that are energetic, smart self-starters with retail banking experience, driven by sales results and client success, in an entrepreneurial and team-oriented environment.
Ideal locations are in Pennsylvania and/or Missouri but will consider other locations as well.
Initiate contact, create interest, analyze, present, close, train and launch retail checking programs with new client banks in your multi state territory
Create strong relationships and manage existing bank clients in your defined multi state territory
Deliver a minimum of eight presentations per week (first call and follow-up calls) to senior level retail banking and marketing executives
Effectively close sales with banks using a consultative sales process - articulate and present strategic concepts supported by the construction of financial impact analysis of solutions and client case studies
Travel as necessary (typically 2-3 nights a week) to deliver the required number of presentations
Stay informed about retail banking industry trends and research to deliver compelling, fact-based presentations and contribute to the growing knowledge base of fellow account executives
2-3 years of direct selling experience (ideally to financial institutions); knowledge and familiarity of retail banking (sales, marketing or product development) a major plus
Able to listen and respond to a banker s needs, talk the talk of a banker, think on your feet , solve problems and effectively negotiate client agreements; in other words, be a former banker who can identify with the target market, is credible given past experience but knows how bankers make decisions and effectively sell to them
Excellent customer relationship building and management skills
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed with excellent time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and CRM software
Ability to work independently from a home office and manage a defined territory (we will provide a home office setup)
Ideally located in Pennsylvania or Missouri but will consider the right candidate no matter where currently located or where candidate desires to work
