The candidate must have at least 10 years experience as an Oracle DBA.
This positions requires night and weekend 24/7 DBA Support. This person will be in the office during the day initially until they are up to speed on the environment and systems. Then the person will be doing night and weekend support. We will set up the consultant with a laptop to work from home for the nights and weekends. This position will eventually be doing a lot of performance tuning.
The consultant must have the following skills:
- Must have strong Oracle 10g DBA Experience
- Flashback Database Experience
- RMAN (Backup/Recovery) Experience
- Data Pump Experience
- Strong Performance Tuning Experience
- Unix Shell Scripting is required
- Must have good experience with ERWIN (for DDL purposes)
