Pharmacist
If you are looking for a good company that doesn't require you to work nights - weekends or holidays, then this is the perfect position for you!
Office Environment, Monday - Friday 8A - 5P, No Weekends, No nights, Full Time, Perm Position, Full Benefits and Paid Time Off!
Will have "on call" phone for 1 week every 2 - 3 months or so. During that week - you work from home - no need to go into office. You should probably expect about 10 calls in that week. You will not be overwhelmed with calls.
- Call Center Environment.
- Low key atmosphere.
- Pharmacist needed to perform prospective &retrospective drug utilization review to identify drug related problems, such as duplication, severe drug-drug interactions, side effects, etc.
- The Pharmacist will answer telephone and written requests from providers, conduct research to reach a decision on all requests.
- The Pharmacist will review clinical documentation of all MEP. Review oral/written responses from prescribers &evaluate them against standardized guidelines.
- The Pharmacist will issue prior authorization according to established protocols.
- The Pharmacist will maintain knowledge of MEP criteria, policies &procedures.
- The Pharmacist will create records for beneficiaries utilizing Pos Web (A computer program the company uses - experience is not required).
Requirements
Pharmacist Requirements:
- Must have Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D. - Must have a minimum of two years clinical experience &one year of retail experience.
- Must be PC Proficient
- Must have excellent verbal &written communication skills.
